“The Rio trip November 2010 was AMAZING. Totally worth it. Rolles and Igor really were amazing in getting us stellar training, and giving us unlimited access to touring the area. The entire group bonded, and had the best time. I will make it to as many trips as I can. I’m already crossing my fingers for Costa Rica! Rio was the best vacation of my life. Thanks guys, soooo much :)” Linda Lewis NJ

“The trip to Rio was great, one of the best times I’ve ever had! Training was awesome, the hotel was about a block away from Gracie  Barra and right on the beach! Nothing feels better than training hard in the morning and jumping right into the ocean to cool off directly after. All the people at Barra were really helpful and a pleasure to train with. I had the honor of training with so many different black belts, and I think I learned something from every one of them. Nightlife was great too, it is Rio afterall so I definitely burned the candle at both ends, but I didn’t go to Rio to sleep right!? I always say ill sleep when I die! I also got the opportunity to hanglide for the first time, which is an experience I’ll always remember, but most of all  I can’t say enough about our host Rolles Gracie. Rolles can seem serious and intimidating at times on the mats, but on this trip I got to see a whole other side of him, he was great to hang out with and alot of fun. not to mention you can’t get better than having a member of the Gracie family guide you around Brazil. it was definately quite an honor! I definately reccomend this trip to anyone looking to train, kick back and enjoy themselves as well as have the opportunity to learn more about the culture that spawned the art that is our obsession.” – Norbert Barreto, Purple Belt

“As a jiu jitsu practitioner, the trip to Brazil was the ideal vacation. The beach was right across the street from our hotel and the Gracie Barra academy one block behind where we could train twice a day and attend some really helpful privates with black belts. In between the beach and training, we had a tour of the beautiful city and culture conducted by our own Igor Gracie.  I came back to New York refreshed, relaxed and reinvigorated for jiu jitsu.” – David Park, Blue Belt

“The trip to Rio was one of the most fun and amazing things I’ve done in my life. I’ve been to many places all over the world, including living in China for a month, and I gotta say Brazil was my favorite place I’ve ever visited. The training was of the highest quality, I doubled my jiu-jitsu game while I was down there, plus I got to see the most beautiful sites in Rio. I would easily recommend it for anyone, I guarantee you won’t want to leave.” – Matthew Gonzalez, White Belt, New York, NY

“I highly recommend the Brazil Trip. Every aspect exceeded my expecations from the training to the hotel. The people are very friendly, everyone is cool and laid back, and the land is gorgeous. Igor did a great job showing us a good time, dont miss out!” – Justin Cummings, Blue Belt, New York, NY

“The trip to Brazil was a wonderful adventure! As you can image, the training was fantastic. But that was just the beginning. We were immersed in the Brazilian culture. We ate, drank and played like true Brazilians. I especially enjoyed going to the beach and hang gliding. I met some wonderful and memorable (that is you Nas) people and highly recommend the trip.” -Roger Murray blue belt Atlanta, Georgia.

“Earlier this year I was fortunate enough to attend the first ever Kyra Gracie Camp!  What an amazing time it was.  It was much more than I could have ever expected.  I met a great group of girls from all over the world.  We trained several times a day in Jiu Jitsu as well as boxing and ginastica natural.  We trained with the best instructors including Kyra herself.  Kyra was with us the entire trip and guided us through the beautiful city of RIO. Besides training we were able to sightsee and visit RIO’s most popular tourist attractions along with its best kept secrets.  The accommodations were great and in a nice neighborhood close to the beach.  We hang glided and we even climbed Gavea Rock!  We visited the Santa Clara family where we trained with the children who were brought there to escape their past of abandonment from society.  Jiu Jitsu is one of the many activities that they participate in.  This was one of the highlights of the trip.  It was great to see the kids have the opportunities that they should have. They were all very respectful and excited to train with us. My Jiu Jitsu game has improved a lot since this trip.  Kyra was available to answer all questions and gave great advice.  I am looking forward to attending the camp next year.” Donna Picerno, brown belt NJ

“The Brazil trip was the best experience of my life. Extreme training, beaches full of beautiful people, thrilling hangliding adventure, and the most addicting acai i’ve ever tasted. I’m definitely going to Brazil again.” – Nick Orozco, White Belt, New York, NY
